Oh, say it ain't so, Joe! You're telling me I have to learn an entirely new query language and dashboard-building tool in order to get insights from my data?
Not so fast! Wallabi is designed to help you answer questions without needing to learn a new interface. It's as easy as can be and getting easier with every update. Let's dive in.
Ask a Question
At the bottom of your insight feed, select the "Ask Wallabi a new question" button. This will open a modal where you can type the question you'd like to ask and select which data source to analyze. Wallabi will guess the data source for you, but you can override this selection.
Refine the Insight
When you ask a question, Wallabi initiates its planning process, which involves gathering context and identifying the appropriate queries to run. Once Wallabi has run its first pass at the analysis, you can edit and adjust any plan component to account for your business context and specific needs.
For example, you may rewrite or delete any of Wallabi's assumptions in the context menu, or you may add your own by selecting "Add Context."
Whenever you change content on this page, Wallabi will automatically update the plan and re-run all the queries with this new information.
You may also adjust any of the steps or "views" that Wallabi generated to analyze your data. Click "+ Add" to see Wallabi's list of suggested ideas or type in your own. Click the kebab menu ("...") at the top right of any view to delete it or move it within the plan
Ask a Follow-Up Question
You may also ask new questions within the context of a single insight. This will not add a new question to your insight feed.
