Your basket is where you add products and place the order.

What is the basket

Your basket is a shopping cart where you can add products and place the order, as well as a temporary place to hold the selected products before the order is submitted.


💡Tip

Always open a new basket if you are starting a new order, never use an older or already-used basket.

How to start a new basket

  1. Navigate to the Operation Portal via the 3-dot menu.

  2. Select Baskets in the left-hand side bar, and then a list of active awaiting baskets will show on screen.

  3. To start a new basket, click on the + New Basket button.

  4. Enter a name for your basket — your initials or the date are good options.

  5. Select the desired Product Hub.

  6. Click on Next.

  7. Add the products to your basket as desired from the Product Hub.

  8. Submit order. This will send all orders that you have selected to all suppliers.

Once order has been placed, you can view the order status within Orders.

⚠️Note

If your organisation has set up approval workflows for raised orders, you may see that your order has been assigned a status of “Requires Approval” or “Awaiting Approval.” At this stage, the relevant approver(s) will have been alerted that an order requires their review.
