Waiting list for a trip

I'm on a waiting list, what does this mean and what is the likelihood I'll get a place on the trip?

For all packages, we have a maximum capacity. If the trip you want to book a place on has sold out and there are no more spaces available, we may add a waiting list.

To confirm your place on a waiting list you will still be required to pay the deposit to confirm your waiting list booking.

If and when a place becomes available, we will process the waiting list and whoever is in 1st position will be upgraded to a confirmed booking, will receive a booking confirmation and will be required to select your booking options and pay the outstanding balance by the payment deadline, this will be detailed on your booking confirmation.

Where we have waiting lists on trips, our team will try to secure more accommodation so we are able to upgrade as many people as possible to a confirmed booking. This can unfortunately take some time and as such it may be that we aren't able to upgrade the waiting list until just before the payment deadline.

By paying a deposit on a waiting list booking, you are essentially booking onto this trip and telling us you want a place. Please ensure you are prepared to pay the full balance of your trip by the payment deadline which will be stated on your waiting list confirmation.

If we have not been able to secure more accommodation and, unfortunately, have not been able to upgrade your booking to a confirmed booking, we will cancel your booking and refund the deposit paid.

Important to note - if you have a waiting list booking and are upgraded and you then decide you don't want to attend the trip, our standard cancellation fees will apply.
