You can create groups of services for local charges to keep track of and group services together using WebCargo’s groups of services tool.

Grouping services together allows the system to collectively calculate these services when quoting, instead of having them separately on the quotation. The grouped amount will be shown on the quotation that’s sent to the customer. Find out how you can use this tool in this article.

1. Create your group of services

First, expand the side menu and select Rate management.

Then expand the Air local charges dropdown and finally, select Groups of services.

Here you’ll be able to view all groups of services you have previously created. Click Add group to start adding your group.

2. Choose the name of your group

A pop-up will appear asking you to enter a name and a code for the group. Enter the name of the group as well as the code, which can be a combination of letters and numbers. Then click Add.

Your new group of services will be added to the list and can now be used to create local charges.

Important: The group you’re creating is the line item charge that will appear on the quote the customer receives, instead of seeing multiple local charges on single lines.

3. Deleting your group of services

You can delete your group of services at any time by clicking on the rubbish can icon. You do not have the option to edit the name and code, so be careful when entering your information. Also, be aware that after clicking the rubbish can icon, the group of services will be removed.

4. Uploading groups of services using a template

To use the group of services you’ve created, you’ll next need to create a group template. To do this, once again expand the side menu and select Rate management.

Then select Group templates from the Air local charges dropdown.

To create your template, select Add template.

Enter a name for the template and select whether it should be applied to import or export, then click Add.

A list of services will appear which can be selected to be grouped together with the previously created Group of services.

Select the charges to be added, scroll down and click Save.

When you’re creating a quotation, under the Local charges tab, this group of services will now be available to select with the previously indicated charges now applied.
