By now you should have created your sales profiles, services and suppliers (if necessary) for your WebCargo account.
If you have done these things, you're ready to start adding your local charges.
To add the local charge, go to Settings, then Local Charges and select Local Charges from the dropdown. Here you can find a list of all the local charges previously entered into the system.
Click on the + symbol to start adding new charges, then complete the fields that appear. Add information as to where your local charge should apply, such as whether it’s for the origin or destination, which country it should apply to (mandatory), specific airports, airlines, any services you have previously created and other things like any branches it is applicable for. You can also choose the service that you had previously created.

Next, you’ll need to select the validity date, if there is one. If the local charge has no expiration date, click the No expiration date box.
You’ll then find a dropdown called Type of price. Within this drop-down, you have 6 options as to the type of price you can have. These consist of Fixed Price and those that are not fixed price, or rather are variable.
Fixed price should be selected when adding a local charge that is considered either a flat fee per shipment (e.g AWB), or a fixed per KG rate. Fixed price is selected by default.
For import XLS - Price per, or other Types of price, you will need to import an XLS file depending on your calculation basis. These types of prices are by breakdown, kilometre, mile, zip code, or per zone.

How to find templates for local charges
You can find the templates for all the XLS options by going to Tools, then Templates, and clicking on the corresponding Excel file for the template you want to download.
In order to upload and import your local charges if you’ve chosen this option, you’ll need to select the Choose file option.
Find the Excel file with the data inside and click on it to upload. Make sure you have picked the correct template for the upload option you’ve selected. Then click Save. The local charge added should now appear on the list of local charges and is ready to be used for quoting.
