How to top up your WebCargo Wallet using a credit or debit card

Find out how to instantly top up your balance, so you don't lose your booking.

If you’re running low on funds for your WebCargo wallet, you can instantly add more funds to your account using a credit or debit card without having to communicate with our finance team. Find out in this article how to use this tool.

First, click on the Billing tab. From here, you’ll be able to see your available balance if you have any. If you are running low, or need to top up your balance, click on the Top up your wallet button.

From here, a side panel will appear where you can choose to either add funds to your wallet using a credit or debit card or by wire transfer.

Enter the amount you want to add to your wallet.

If you have chosen credit/debit card, you will see a breakdown of the costs related to your deposit. You will see the amount you have requested for top-up, the cost of the deposit fees (1% of total fee) and the card processing fees (3.5% of total fee) as well as the total charges for the card deposit.

Finally, select your payment card, or if you want to use a new card, click on New Card. Then enter your new card details. Once complete, your new card details will be saved and can be used for future purchases.

After entering your information, click on the Top up button. Wait a couple of seconds and the funds should now be added to your WebCargo Pay balance.

You can also choose to update your wallet balance using a wire transfer. This will allow you to copy the Freightos Group bank details and make the transfer externally from your bank account.

Once our finance team has received your funds processed using a bank transfer, they will inform you via email, and you’ll be able to see your balance within your wallet.

How to top up your balance at the review and book page

You can top up directly from the review and book page if you are about to complete your eBooking but do not have sufficient funds to do so.

If you do not have sufficient funds to complete the eBooking, you’ll be shown a message on the screen that states this. Click on the Top-up your wallet button to add more funds to your account.

A side panel will appear like the one shown earlier, where you can choose to add funds to your wallet either using a credit or debit card.

If you want to top up with credit or debit cards, you will be shown the outstanding amount needed in order to complete the transaction.

You can choose to add more funds by editing the numerical value in the Amount to top-up box. Once you’ve entered your details, select the payment card then click on the Top-up button.

The funds should instantly be added to your wallet which will allow you to complete your eBooking.
