Allergens

We handle most of the 14 named allergens on site.

We are very careful about the way we handle allergens and follow a strict HACCP to ensure products are kept separate, clean downs are conducted correctly and every effort is made to avoid cross contamination when we are filling products with allergens in.

We also reuse our containers across a wide variety of products so it's possible they previously had an allergen container product in. Of course they will be cleaned with our excellent commercial cleaning equipment, and we are currently working on allergen testing protocols to further improve our ability to reduce cross-contamination. With this in mind it is important for you to understand that we cannot guarantee that there has been no cross contamination of allergens.

While we make these efforts to improve our allergen handling, it's important that if you have any allergies you need to be aware of the following statement, which we also ask you to acknowledge when you create an account:

Please note we handle allergens including milk, eggs, cereals containing gluten, celery, celeriac, lupin, sesame, soybeans, peanuts, nuts, sulphur dioxide and sulphites on site. Due to our packing process and reuse of containers there is a risk for all of our products of cross-contamination from these, and all other allergens.

If you'd like to ask us any more questions regarding allergens you can email us on help@weekly.shop.
