If you’re an international resident or student looking to verify your ID in the WeMoney App, you will need to complete our Manual Verification Process and upload your documents to receive assistance from our support team.
We can accept the following combination of documents for international residents or students:
Primary ID: International passport or visa
Proof of Address: Any bill or letter that includes your full name and address
Important notes when uploading your documents:
Make sure the document is clear and readable, we will not be able to verify blurry documents.
Capture the entire document, don't fold, crop, or exclude any part of the document.
Upload a photo of the physical document or a digital copy of the document.
We do ask that you complete a failed in-app verification attempt prior to or following this step, as it ensures you are able to read and accept WeMoney’s terms of service.
