How to Manage Online Appointments, Bookings or Reservations

Learn how to change booking status and talk to customers

Note that the Wemu Marketplace has three sections, and this tutorial applies to businesses that sell on the Services sections.

After a customer books a service from the Marketplace, you'll want to process this booking. Here's how to do that:

All the reservations you get from the Wemu Marketplace can be viewed on the Tasks page.

You can get to this page by clicking on the clipboard icon on the left.

To access the details of a booking, simply click on it.

If you do not have instant booking enabled for the service, you will have to personally approve bookings. To do this, simply click on Approve.

Now that the booking’s approved you can send confirmation messages and chat with the customer using the chat box.

Open the appointment summary to see full details, edit the appointment, mark it in progress or completed once the customer is done.

Reservations that are in progress will appear as blue on your Reservations Page.

Once the service is done, you can now update the status to Completed by clicking the checkbox.

Completed services will appear as green on your Reservations Page.

The Tasks feature is for more than managing appointments and reservations. You can also assign tasks to employees on the same calendar so that your team stays in sync. Click here to learn how to create tasks
