We have added 2 brand new surveys to WeThrive this month. In this article we cover the following:
What results are available (anonymous & non-anonymous options)?
Onboarding Survey
The onboarding survey is designed to gather feedback from new colleagues who have recently joined the organisation. Understand what went well during the onboarding process, what could be improved, whether they are settling in with their team, receiving enough comms from the organisation and their manager etc. See a preview below...
Offboarding Survey
The offboarding survey is designed to gather feedback from those leaving the organisation shortly. Replace exit interviews with this survey and understand key reasons for leaving, if there were any factors that would have encouraged them to stay, and their experience working at the organisation e.g. did they feel appreciated, did the have opportunities to develop their career etc. See a preview below...
Customising the surveys
For both the onboarding and offboarding surveys, WeThrive have produced a recommended set of questions.
When setting up the surveys, you can customise this question set and survey including:
Edit the wording of existing questions
Remove any questions you don't need
Add your own questions
Add a title and description to your survey
Edit the email wording sent to individuals with their survey link
What results are available?
For both survey types, you will be able to export all of the individual responses row by row into a spreadsheet.
You can run these surveys anonymously or non-anonymous (we would recommend non-anonymous).
Anonymous option
View individual results row by row in a spreadsheet - linked to their record info including Team, Location, Department, Manager. To run these anonymously, you will need to send to at least 4 people to start with.
Non-anonymous option
View individual results in a spreadsheet - includes their Name, plus their Team, Location, Department, Manager.
View individual reports in WeThrive on the 'Status' tab of your survey. View example below.
Managers can access individual reports for their assigned employees.
How could I use these surveys?
A popular way to set up these surveys is to create both an onboarding and offboarding survey in your account. Leave them both open for the year and as people join and leave the organisation, you can add them to the relevant survey at the appropriate time.
This allows you to gather one collated data set for analysis where key trends or common factors mentioned amongst participants can be easily reviewed.
Where do I find these surveys & how do I set them up?
For more detailed instructions on setting up an onboarding/offboarding survey, click here. Or read the quick summary below:
Go to Surveys > New Survey > select either "Onboarding" or "Offboarding" from the list.
(If these surveys are not click-able, you may not have these included in your subscription. Contact your Customer Support Executive for more information.)
Once selected, the next page allows you to view and edit the recommended question set in the box on the right. Once you've created your final version, you can preview the question set using the orange button.
Then skip through the pages of selecting people to get to the final set up page where you can edit the survey invite wording.
Leave the survey in edit mode until you're ready to select and send it to your first few employees. At this stage, come back to your survey settings page, and make sure to update the start date and start time. Then schedule your survey by clicking the "Schedule Survey" button.
