Step 1: Get Your Whale API Token

  1. In Whale, go to Workspace Settings > Workspace Management

  2. Scroll to the Integrations section

  3. Under Zapier, click Generate Token

  4. A pop-up will appear with your Workspace (Tenant) Name and Token

Step 2: Visit Whaleโ€™s Zapier Integration Page

Here, youโ€™ll be able to set up your first โ€œZapโ€ โ€” an automated workflow between Whale and another app.


Step 3: Build Your Zap

  1. Select your Trigger App (e.g., Traction Tools, Slack, Teams)

  2. Choose your Action App as Whale

  3. Click Try It and follow the instructions

  4. Use the Token and Workspace Name from Step 1 to connect Whale

  5. Complete your setup by logging into the other tool (e.g., Traction Tools)

  • Trigger: A meeting is scheduled in Traction Tools

  • Action: Assign a card or playbook in Whale to the meeting owner
