In Whippy, you can use advanced filters to search for specific properties across your data. This feature allows you to create complex queries using logical operators (AND/OR) for precise results. Follow the steps below to use the Advanced Search feature:
1. Navigate to your Data page
Go to the Whippy Data by clicking https://app.whippy.co/data/contacts This will take you directly to your list of all contacts with advanced options.
2. Open the Filter Options
Click on the "Add Filter" button located at the top of the Data page. This will open a dropdown menu with various filtering options.
3. Select Advanced Filter
From the dropdown menu, click on the "Advanced Filter" option. This will enable additional filtering options for more specific searches.
4. Configure the Advanced Filter
An advanced filter interface will appear. Here, you can define your search criteria by setting specific properties and conditions.
5. Select a Resource
Choose the resource you want to filter by. This could be contacts, tags, or any other data available in Whippy.
6. Choose the Property
Select the property you wish to search for. This could be attributes like contact name, tags, or any other field relevant to your data.
7. Set the Comparison Option
Choose a comparison operator, such as "Is exactly," or "Is not exactly," to define how the property should be matched.
8. Define the Value
Enter the exact value you are searching for. For example, if you are searching by tag, enter the specific tag you want to find.
9. Add Additional Conditions
To refine your search further, click "Add Filter" to introduce another condition. This allows you to build complex queries by combining multiple criteria.
10. Select Logical Operator (AND/OR)
For each additional condition, choose the logical operator that determines how the conditions are combined. Use "AND" to require all conditions to be met, or "OR" to match any of the conditions.
