Whippy offers the ability to block and unblock contacts, providing you control over your communications. When a contact is blocked, all their conversations are marked as "spam," and their messages won't appear in your inbox or trigger notifications. You can still view their messages by searching for the contact's phone number. If you decide to unblock a contact later, their previous messages will remain saved.
1. Navigate to your Contacts
Go to the Whippy Contacts by clicking https://app.whippy.co/contacts This will take you directly to your list of all contacts.
2. Select the Desired Contact
Use the search bar or scroll through the list to locate the contact you want to block. Click the specific contact to open contact info view.
💡Tip: You can search contacts by such options as First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Email)
3. Block Contact
In the opened contact's side panel, navigate to the bottom and find the Block Contact button. Click on it to initiate the blocking process.
4. Confirm Blocking
A confirmation modal window will appear. Click on Yes, Block to confirm and block the contact.
💡Tip: If you want to unblock this contact later. You can do it by performing the same steps. Instead of Block Contact option, there will be Un-block Contact option.
