In Whippy, you can set communication channel preferences for the opt-out feature. Follow this guide to manage opt-outs per channel for your contacts.
1. Navigate to your Contacts
Go to the Whippy Contacts by clicking https://app.whippy.co/contacts This will take you directly to your list of all contacts.
2. Select the Desired Contact
Use the search bar or scroll through the list to locate the contact you want to unsubscribe. Click the specific contact to open contact info view.
💡Tip: You can search contacts by such options as First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Email)
3. Unsubscribe the Contact
In the contact's side panel, find and click on the Unsubscribe Contact button.
4. Choose Locations (if applicable)
If you manage multiple locations or numbers on Whippy, select the specific locations you want to unsubscribe the contact from. This allows you to opt-out contact via specific communication channels
5. Select Un-Subscribe option
Hover the Un-Subscribe button. Click on it to initiate the process.
6. Confirm Unsubscription
Confirm the action by clicking "Yes, I am sure" to finalize the unsubscription.
💡Tip: Contacts can reply "STOP" to unsubscribe automatically.
