How to Block a Contact?

How to block a contact so you no longer need to interact with their messages.

In Whippy, you have the option to block and unblock contacts. Blocking a contact marks all of their conversation's as "spam" instead of "open", "automated", or "closed." Your contact will still be able to send you messages but you will not get notifications about these and they will not appear in the inbox unless you search for the contact's phone number. Should you wish to unblock the contacts in the future. Their messages will still be saved from when they were blocked.

To block a contact, follow these instructions:

To block a contact, you must find the one you want to block. You can do this from the Contacts page.

2. Search or pick from the list the contact you would like to block

You can use the search bar from the Contacts page to find the contact you want to block.

Click on Search Contacts

3. Click on the Contact

Once you have found the contact that you want to block, select that contact to open the contact side panel.

Click on Sherri Berry

4. Click on Block Contact

In the contact side panel, at the very bottom, you'll find the block button. Click on this to block the contact.

Click on Block Contact

6. Click on Yes, Block

Click on Yes, Block to block the contact.

Click on Yes, Block

Done. You've blocked your contact! πŸŽ‰
