If you decide to change voice providers for the number you are using for texting on Whippy, you should be aware that they will also remove your number from Whippy as part of their migration process.
To ensure minimal downtime during your voice provider transition, please reach out to us with the following:
The date you will be switching to your new voice provider
A signed Letter of Authorization (LOA) - You can download a copy at the bottom of this help article
A copy of the phone bill for your new voice provider
Also, it is recommended to check with your new voice provider about the type of line they will assign to your number. If they designate your number as "mobile," please be aware that hosting your number on Whippy or any other third-party texting platform will no longer be possible.
