Scheduled Messaging

With Whippy's Scheduled Messaging feature, you can plan and send messages at a future date and time. This guide will help you understand how to schedule, send, edit, and delete your messages effectively.

1. Navigate to your Inbox

Go to the Whippy Inbox by clicking https://app.whippy.co/inbox/all/open. This will take you directly to your list of all conversations.

2. Open the Desired Conversation

Select the conversation you wish to create your scheduled message in. You can use the search bar to find specific conversations or scroll through your list.

3. Choose the Scheduling Option

In the message editor, click on the clock icon to open the scheduling options.

4. Fill Out Your Scheduled Message

Enter the content of your message and select the date and time you want it to be sent.

5. Confirm the Schedule

Once you’ve composed your message and set the schedule, click on "Schedule Message" to finalize the scheduling.

6. Preview the Scheduled Message

After scheduling, you can preview your message to ensure all details are correct.

💡Tip: All scheduled messages may be filtered and found under “Scheduled” tab in the main sidebar.


How to Send, Edit, and Delete a Scheduled Message

After scheduling your message you have different actions you can choose. Take a look at the options below:

Send a Scheduled Message Before Its Deadline

1. Select the Send option

To send the scheduled message immediately, click on arrow icon in the preview area.

2. Confirm the Sending

Select "Yes, Send Now" to send the message right away.

Edit a Scheduled Message Before Its Deadline

1. Click on the Pencil Icon

To make changes to your scheduled message, click on the pencil icon in the preview area.

2. Edit the message content or the scheduled time as needed.

3. Click on "Update Message" to save your changes.

Delete a Scheduled Message

1. Click on the X Icon

If you need to cancel the scheduled message, click on the X icon.

2. Confirm the Deleting

Confirm the cancellation by clicking on "Delete Scheduled Message".
