In Whippy, you can easily share links with your contacts directly from the inbox. This feature allows you to send URLs to relevant information, resources, or any other web content to your contacts within a conversation.
1. Navigate to your Inbox
Go to the Whippy Inbox by clicking https://app.whippy.co/inbox/all/open. This will take you directly to your list of all conversations.
2. Choose the Desired Conversation
From your Inbox, select the conversation in which you want to share a link. You can do this by clicking on the conversation from the list or by using the search bar to find it quickly.
3. Paste Your Link into the Message and Send It
In the message editor at the bottom of the conversation window, paste the link you wish to share. Once you've pasted the link, click the send button to share it with your contact.
Link Shortening Feature
When you send a message with a link on Whippy, the link is automatically shortened after sending the message to a contact. This automatic shortening minimizes the likelihood of your message being marked as spam and optimizes character usage for longer links. For example, a shortened link might look like this: https://m.whippy.co/X93BnjfB.
💡 The goal here is to ensure your messages have a better chance of reaching their intended recipients without any issues and to save you valuable characters in the process. When the contact clicks on the shortened link, they will be redirected to the original link.
