Accessing Previous Patient Results in WizardLab?
Since we know this is something you often need, especially when approving and verifying results, we've decided to make it as easy as possible for you.
How?
From sample processing to Patient Card
All the patient basic information and previous reports are stored in the Patient card. When you are processing a sample related to a patient, their Patient card is just one click away.
So, when you need to see previous patient data, simply click on their name to open their card.
Additionally, in the patient card, you can find data on the history of analysis results done for the patient in previous orders in the system.
After that, you can see all their orders and data in the record.
Patient Card
The patient card consists of two parts:
1. Patient Header
It contains the basic patient information (name, date of birth...) that always provides insight into the exact patient.
By clicking the "down arrow" you can see additional patient data.
Here you can also find the "Edit Data" option, which you can use to modify or add data for this patient if needed.
You can also create a new manual order by clicking on the "Create new order" button.
2. List of Previous Orders, Documents, and Analysis History
This part contains three tabs or views:
- List of Orders
- Documents
- History Analysis
List of orders
This is the default view, and when you open the patient card, you immediately see all current and previous patient orders.
Everything is chronologically ordered, and the information about reported samples is highlighted so you can quickly and easily find what you're looking for.
Clicking on any of these reports leads directly to the selected report.
Documents
Here are the patient's documents, previous orders imported from other LIS systems, and all documents that will be stored in the patient card in the future.
History Analysis
As the name suggests, through this option you can find the history of results for any analysis done for the patient in any previous orders.
When in the analysis history section, you can now find any analysis and see the value trends in the patient's previous orders.
Of course, you can also access the analysis history through sample processing screen by clicking on the analysis, which will bring you back to the patient record in the analysis history section.
From Search to Patient Card
Another way to access the patient card is through general search.
If you ever need to find and potentially print a patient's report that you worked on in a previous period, you can do so through search.
After opening the search window, you need to specify that you are searching for a subject.
In the designated field, enter the patient's name and surname or identifier, and WizardLab will find the targeted patient.
Clicking on the desired result will open their patient card, where you can immediately print the results or send them to the patient by email for completed reports.
