The new version introduces features that will further enhance your daily use of the system.

Below are the key updates, which are explained in more detail later in the guide:

🔍 Activity Overview for Order/Sample and Analysis Result History
You can now track the movement of analysis results faster and more clearly – all information is available with a single click.

🧪 Sample Tracking by Analyzers
This new option allows easy viewing of samples currently being processed on a specific analyzer. You can also customize the sample worklist to show only those being handled by the selected analyzer, improving organization and workflow tracking.

📄 Memory of Last Selection When Searching Electronic Referrals
The system now automatically remembers your last selection when searching electronic referrals, speeding up registration and simplifying your workflow.

🔍 Activity Overview and Analysis Result History

In the sample and registration worklist view, hovering your mouse over the sample/order status now instantly shows the last three activities.

This provides a direct view of recent actions. For a full activity history, you can still access it by opening the registration and clicking "Activities on Order."

📊 One-Click Analysis Result History

While processing a sample, you can now view the analysis result history with a single click.

If the patient has previously undergone the same analysis, a "clock" icon will appear next to the result entry field. Clicking it reveals the most recent results along with details like the date of the analysis.

As before, you can also access the result history via the patient’s record by clicking the analysis name.

🧪 Sample Tracking by Analyzers

This section explains how and where to view sample activities, showing which analyzer is currently processing a sample.

You can also search the worklist by analyzer.

Example:
We’ll process a serum sample using the Olympus AU480 analyzer.

  • When a new sample is registered, its status is "NEW."

  • The sample is then taken to the Olympus AU480 for analysis.

  • Once the barcode is scanned (or sample number entered), the status changes from "NEW" to "ANALYZER," indicating the analyzer has begun processing.

Hovering over the sample status reveals a magnifying glass icon.

Clicking "ANALYZER" displays the sample’s activity, confirming it was loaded onto the analyzer.

Note:
This status is visible only in the sample worklist view. In the registration view, the status remains "NEW" until results are recorded, at which point it changes to "IN PROGRESS."

Once analysis is complete, results are entered as usual, and the sample status changes from "ANALYZER" to "IN PROGRESS."

Additional Notes:

  • Manual result entry remains unchanged: entering even one result changes the sample status from "NEW" to "IN PROGRESS."

  • Repeating a sample follows the same process: mark the analysis as repeated, and the described workflow repeats.

Bonus:
You can now filter the worklist by analyzer to display only samples currently being processed on a specific device.
In our example, selecting Olympus AU480 shows only samples active on that analyzer.

📄 Memory of Last Selection in Electronic Referral Search

When registering electronic referrals, you can search by three parameters:

  • Registration number (e.g., 123456 from hospital systems)

  • Subject name (First and Last Name)

  • Subject identifier (e.g., patient’s ID number)

By default, the system uses subject name for search.

If you prefer searching by name, simply select that method and perform a search. The system will remember your last choice.

Important:
It’s not enough to just select a search method—you must also perform a search for the system to save your preference.

From then on, every time you register a new referral, the system will default to your last-used search method.

This preference is saved to your profile in WizardLab.
