New version of WizardLab (v.25.11.)

The new version of WizardLab brings a series of enhancements designed to make your daily work simpler, clearer, and faster.

New functionalities have been added to ease everyday tasks, make workflows more intuitive, and speed up certain processes during sample handling.

A special emphasis has been placed on data clarity, achieved by refreshing the theme and interface design. The application now has a more modern, cleaner, and user-friendly look.

This allows easier navigation and quicker access to necessary information through new features, enabling you to complete more tasks with fewer steps — leaving you with more time for what truly matters.

Below, we list and explain in detail all the new features in WizardLab so you can apply them quickly and easily in your daily work.


Accessing the Analysis Panel & Adding Services to Registration

You can now add services to a registration.

Services are selected from the same panel where you already add analyses and analysis groups.

Access has changed: previously you clicked “+Add Analyses”; now you click the green plus (+) icon.

The process of marking and adding analyses remains the same, but now you can also add services (e.g., blood draw).

Multiple services can be added and their quantities adjusted directly during processing.

Services can be added, modified, or removed via the panel or additional options on the registration.

You can remove a service from new order by clicking on the "x" button.


Repeating Analyses with Dilution Changes

You can now adjust dilution when repeating an analysis on the analyser.

Example: repeating a Creatinine test with a different dilution.

As usual, we will click to repeat the analysis, but this time we will click on the "repeat" button and enter the dilution value.

Once the new run result on analyser is done, the system records this dilution change in activities, when you click on the repeat button on analysis

But also when you open the order activities

It's important to note that this does not change the setting of this analysis on analyzer, this dilution change will only apply on this current run on the analyzer.


Adding Documents to Patient Card

You can upload documents (files, images) to patient’s lab card in WizardLab.

Files are attached via “Attach new file” in patient options.

Then you select a file from your PC.

After we've done that, the uploaded documents are stored with the patient card and can be added in unlimited number.


Recording Parent’s Name for Identification

When registering a new patient, you can now enter a parent’s name as an additional identifier.

If this data already exists in EHR system, it will appear automatically.

The parent’s name is displayed in brackets on the patient card and other system views.


Accredited Analyses

Analyses can now be marked as accredited, and this status will be shown on the patient report.

Configuration is available through laboratory administration, so if you want to use this feature in your laboratory, please let us know.
