Updated over 2 months ago

Overview

Effective communication is essential when managing incoming leads. By modifying text notification settings, you can ensure the right team members are promptly alerted whenever a new lead is assigned. This article will guide you through:

  • Adding or removing Truck Pros from receiving text notifications

  • Adding a cell phone number if one is missing

  • Troubleshooting common issues with text alerts

Properly configuring these settings helps your team stay informed, respond quickly, and maintain high productivity.

Before We Get Started

  • This article refers to actions only accessible by Truck Pros with Sales Manager access.

Steps to Modify Text Notification Settings

Step 1: Access Tools Menu and Truck Pro Management Page

  • Once logged into your account, open the Tools menu and click on Truck Pro Management.

Step 2: Find the Truck Pro

  • Once you are on the Truck Pro Management page, you can view and manage current Truck Pros including seeing who is currently receiving text notifications.

    • Locate and click on the row for the Truck Pro whose text notifications you wish to update.

In the example above, Sammy Sales is currently marked as No under the “Accepting Text” column despite being marked as Yes under the “In Rotation” column. This means while she will still receive email notifications when a lead is assigned, she will not be notified by text unless this setting is updated.

Step 3: View Truck Pro’s profile

  • Click on the Truck Pro's name, this will open a drop-down containing the profile of that Truck Pro, where you can make modifications for text notifications.

Step 4: Adding a Cell Phone Number and Adding/Removing Text Notifications

Before proceeding, confirm that the Truck Pro has a valid cell phone number listed if you are wanting to add text notification to this Truck Pro.

  • If their number is already listed, skip to Adding Text Notifications for a Truck Pro.

  • If they do not have a number listed, it will be reflected in all red stating “No Cell Phone.” View the How to Add Cell Phone Number drop-down below for more guidance!

How to Add Cell Phone Number

  1. Locate the Cell Phone section in the Truck Pro’s profile. If missing, it will display “No Cell Phone” in red.

  2. Click No Cell Phone to open the pop-up window.

  3. Enter the Truck Pro’s cell number and click the checkmark to save your changes.

    • Note: Truck Pros can also add their own number through their profile.

Once a cell number is added, you can proceed to enable text notifications.
