The Commercial Vehicle (CV) Showroom acts as your 24/7 digital salesperson, allowing you to showcase an unlimited virtual catalog of work-ready trucks and vans even when your physical lot is low. By configuring this correctly, you capture high-margin fleet interest and feed your Fixed Ops pipeline.
Phase 1: Activation and Navigation
Login: Access your Dealer Portal via your Truck Pro Login.
Navigate to the Tools tab and select Preferences.
Select the Custom Orders drop-down menu.
Toggle Enable Custom Orders Landing Page to "On".
Select the checkbox to add "Custom Orders" (or your preferred term) to your website’s top navigation bar.
Phase 2: Catalog Selection (Inventory Strategy)
This section defines which upfit configurations buyers can "research and order" from your site.
Click Add Upfits to Catalog. Filter by body type and manufacturer (e.g., Knapheide Service Bodies or Reading).
Click Add Upfits to My Catalog.
Use the Remove button for body types you no longer wish to support, or the Request Additional Combinations button if a specific manufacturer/body pair is missing.
Phase 3: SEO and Visual Branding
Update the Headline, Button Text, and Introductory Paragraph to match your dealership's voice.
Enter relevant industry keywords (e.g., "Crane Truck," "Contractor Van") in the Description Meta Tag to capture local vocational search traffic.
Upload both desktop (2400x600 px) and mobile (600x600 px) banners to ensure a seamless experience for field-based fleet managers.
Choose your Top 3 Body Types and Top 3 Manufacturers to feature as quick-click panels on the landing page.
Phase 4: Lead Handling
Under Lead Handling, choose to follow your standard rotation or route all custom catalog inquiries to a specific Truck Pro or your BDC.
Enable specific questions Enable specific questions based on body type (e.g., "What is your required payload capacity?") to pre-qualify the lead before the first call.
Toggle on sections for Trade-In, Financing, and Transportation to increase the data points captured per inquiry.
