Welcome to WorkBright’s Texting Feature!
If you recently received a notification from our Implementation Team confirming that your account was enabled with Text Notifications, the steps to activate the feature are below:
To enable the default message delivery as text, a Full Access admin will navigate to the Settings tab, open the General Settings section and select Text as the Delivery Method for Notifications (note: Onboarding and Remote I9 notifications are managed separately and your account may have only one or both of these options). By default, WorkBright does not enable text notifications for customer accounts.
The Admin may wish to set specific options for certain staff, other than the site default. This can be accomplished in the individual staff member’s profile on their Employment tab.
Option 1 above will configure the staff member to receive notifications via the default method selected in the Settings.
Option 2 above will configure the staff member to receive notifications via the chosen method selected here.
For Existing Staff members, they will be eligible to receive text message notifications when they log into your site and update their profile via Profile & Settings in the top right.
For New Staff members, a site default of “Onboard Notification Method – Text” will deliver the initial or Welcome Notification via Text messaging (the staff member’s text enabled phone number will need to be added to their profile when the admin adds their profile in WorkBright). Once they log into the system, they will need to consent to continue to receive text message notifications in their profile.
In both cases, if the staff member does not consent to accept text messages, all notifications will be sent via email regardless of the system choices.
