Using WorkBright's Dashboard

How should I use WorkBright’s dashboard to help me stay on top of my onboarding and my staff files’ completeness?

Updated over a month ago

WorkBright’s dashboard is designed to give you a quick snapshot into the state of your personnel files, and alert you of any items requiring attention.

Alerts Requiring Your Attention

Alerts appear on the left side of your dashboard. They’ll be divided into two sections, 'Needs Attention' and 'Needs Immediate Attention'

Items needing attention including Form submissions to review, I-9s ready for countersignature with time remaining before the deadline, and E-Verify cases that are not yet Closed-Authorized.

I-9s that need to be completed/countersigned today or are past the three-day allotted window based on an employee’s start date will fall into items that need immediate attention. This alert is based on the “start date” entered when the new employee was added to WorkBright.

But this date could have changed, and the employee is not yet working. If this is the case, simply go to the employee’s profile, edit or remove the start date, and this I-9 will disappear from your alerts requiring immediate attention.

Summary Breakdowns

The right side of your screen summarizes the completeness of your personnel files, the state of their I-9s, and your E-Verify cases if you are using WorkBright’s E-Verify integration.

Green is good, yellow is OK, and red is not so good.

These summaries should alert you to macro tends so that you can take action if need be. For instance,

  • If you saw that 0 of the 50 staff you onboarded a week ago had signed in yet and your sign-in activity showed an unusual amount of yellow, you might want to use Reports to ensure that you had set their Notification start date appropriately.

  • If only one of your new hires has completed all of their required forms, you might use Reports or spot-check a few files to see if there are similarities in what particular forms they are getting stuck on.

In general, though, you want to let WorkBright and your staff do the work, and simply sit back and watch these progress bars move toward solid green!

You can refresh the Dashboard at any-time by clicking “refresh” in the upper right-hand corner.

In addition, the dashboard refreshes automatically every hour on the hour, or every time you log back in.
