WorkBright E-Verify Feature - The Basics

What are the basics of the WorkBright E-Verify Feature?

Updated over a month ago

Manual E-Verify management can be a nightmare, so we've built it seamlessly into the WorkBright Smart I-9.

If your company has purchased this feature, you'll no longer need to manually initiate E-Verify cases or re-enter data - WorkBright will automatically initiate these cases for you!

1. A case is initiated when you complete Section 2 of an employee’s Form I-9.

There is no button you need to push; when a company Administrator or Authorized Representative signs Section 2 of the Form I-9, WorkBright will automatically initiate an E-Verify case for this employee in your integrated E-Verify account.

2. You can view the status of all of your cases by visiting the “E-Verify Cases” page under the “Onboarding” tab of your account.

There are sort, filter and search functionalities to allow you to see just the cases you want to see.

3. You can click on any case to get additional details or take steps to resolve.

The WorkBright E-Verify feature allows a company administrator to manage all cases within WorkBright right from the dashboard. When you click to open the menu for an E-Verify case flagged for action, you'll see a selection to View Case.

This is where you'll take further steps to resolve. Click HERE for detailed instructions on resolution by case type.

4. Keep on eye on your WorkBright Dashboard! The Dashboard will let you know if there any E-Verify cases requiring attention.

Any cases requiring an admin’s attention will be listed in the “E-Verify Summary” component of your WorkBright Dashboard! The E-Verify component to the right will give you full stats on your account’s E-Verify cases.
