In this article, we will guide you through the process of registering and signing in to Workinitiatives, setting up your company profile, and posting your job ad.
Before you start
Before posting a job ad, you should spend 5 minutes to:

Add contact and billing details | Required for account, billing, and job posting purposes |

Choose a posting option | You may need job ad credits, a package, or a subscription to publish jobs |
Registering and Signing In
If you are new to Workinitiatives, the first step is to register for an account. Simply click on the Sign Up button on the top right corner of the homepage and fill in the required information. Once you have completed the registration process, you can now sign in to your account using your email and password.
Note: Due to our privacy policy, we keep applicant data private and secure. To access applicant personal information once candidates have applied to your jobs, you must enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your account and complete your company profile with all required details.
Setting up your company profile
Before posting a job ad, complete your company profile.
Your company profile helps job seekers learn more about your business, brand, workplace, and available roles.
To start:
From the dashboard, select Complete company profile, or
Go to Manage from the left-hand menu.
Select Company profile.
Company profile checklist
Prepare the following information before completing your profile:

Completing your basic company information
In the Basic information section, complete details such as:
company name
founded date
employee count
about company description
ABN or ACN, if available
Note: The company name should match the registered name associated with the ABN or ACN on the Australian Business Register.
On the dashboard, you will navigate to Complete Company Profile.
This is where you want to upload your company logo including a high-quality image that best portrays your company as the banner.
Writing your About Company section
The About Company section helps job seekers understand who you are and why they may want to work with you.
You can use information from your company website as a starting point.
A strong company description may include:
what your company does
your industry
your mission or values
your workplace culture
your locations
why candidates should consider working with you
career development or benefits, if applicable
Keep the description clear, professional, and candidate-focused.
Adding contact and billing information
In the Contact information section, enter your company and billing details.
This may include:

Contact number | Main phone number for your business |
Company URL | Your company website |
Business country | Country where the business is located |
State | Business state or territory |
Business address | Street address and location details |
Billing email | Email address used for billing |

Australian business number | ABN, if available |
If your billing address is the same as your business address, select Same as business address if this option is available.
Company profile settings
The Settings section allows you to control how your company and job ads appear on Workinitiatives.
Available settings may include:

Display contact email over company profile | Shows your contact email on your company profile |
Allow over usage | Allows usage beyond your included credits or package limits, if available |
Open for students located in Australia | Indicates that your roles may be open to students in Australia |
Hide salary in job ad | Hides salary information from job ads where applicable |
Enable enterprise job board | Gives access to your free company job board page |
Job ad auto renew | Allows eligible ads to renew automatically every 30 days if credits are available |
Open to international applicants | Indicates that your roles may be open to international applicants |
Open for working holiday makers | Indicates that your roles may be open to working holiday makers |
Enterprise Job Board
Workinitiatives includes an Enterprise Job Board, which is a free company job board page that can showcase your business to job seekers.
You can use your Enterprise Job Board to display:
your company branding
images and videos
job listings
sections for different roles or locations
company pages such as About Us, Contact Us, or Insights
To access this feature, turn on Enable enterprise job board in your company profile settings and select Save changes.
Once enabled, Enterprise job board will appear in the left-hand menu.

Social media links
You can add social media links to your company profile.
Available fields may include:
Facebook URL
LinkedIn URL
X/Twitter URL
Adding social links can help candidates learn more about your business and follow your company online.
Saving your company profile
After completing your company profile:
Review all required fields.
Check that your contact and billing details are correct.
Confirm your preferred settings.
Add social media links if available.
Select Save changes.
Once saved, your company profile is ready to support job posting and applicant management.
Posting your first job ad
After your company profile is complete, you can post your first job ad.
To start:
Select Post a job from the top-right corner.
Complete the job information.
Add the job description and candidate requirements.
Review the job ad.
Select your payment method or job credits if required.
Publish the job.

Troubleshooting
I cannot see applicant personal information
Make sure two-factor authentication is enabled and your company profile is complete.
Applicant personal information may remain restricted until these requirements are met.
I cannot change my company name
If you need to update your company name, contact customer support.
The company name should match the registered business name associated with the ABN or ACN where applicable.
My ABN or ACN is not accepted
Check that the company name entered matches the registered name associated with the ABN or ACN on the Australian Business Register. If the issue continues, contact customer support.
I cannot see Enterprise Job Board in the menu
Go to Manage > Company profile, scroll to Settings, turn on Enable enterprise job board, and select Save changes. After saving, the Enterprise Job Board menu should appear in the left-hand menu.
I cannot publish a job ad
Check that your company profile is complete and that your account has an active posting option, such as available job ad credits, a package, or a subscription.
I want my job ad to keep renewing
Enable Job ad auto renew in your company profile settings.
You will also need available job ad credits for ads to continue renewing every 30 days.
