As a product-led company deeply embedded in the WordPress industry, we deeply value user feedback, recognizing it as a crucial element in our ongoing quest to enhance our product and deliver exceptional value to our users.

We're an agile startup, and review every bit of feedback we receive. In many cases, your suggestions drive the direction of feature releases.

This article outlines the numerous ways you can provide feedback and the significant impact it has on our development process.

Feature and Mode Requests

Canny.io serves as our primary tool for tracking feature and mode requests and offering a transparent public roadmap.

When submitting platform-specific requests, we encourage you to detail your ideas as much as possible. Feature requests can include suggestions for updates or new capabilities, while mode requests should focus on enhancements specific to individual CodeWP AI Modes and relate to 1 specific plugin.

We constantly review these submissions, and your insights, whether big or small, are always considered for future implementations.

To keep you informed, email notifications are sent regarding the requests you submit or follow.

Reporting UI and Platform Bugs

For reporting UI and platform bugs, we provide a convenient feedback widget through Marker.io available as the Feedback tab on the right of the page.

This tool allows you to capture screenshots and describe the issue in detail, enhancing our understanding and response. Additionally, it captures browser console logs, which are especially valuable for our devs when it comes to technical debugging and solving issues more efficiently.

AI Feedback

We also offer a direct feedback mechanism for our AI responses within the platform. This allows you to instantly comment on and evaluate the AI outputs, aiding us in refining our algorithms and improving the overall user experience.

Use the Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down buttons on each assistant response to offer feedback. For some "bad" ratings, CodeWP may ask for optional feedback, as pictured below.

AI feedback directly improves CodeWP's responses for your individual account, and helps us train future versions of our models. When it comes to improving our generations, this is the most helpful thing you can do.

Support Requests

Beyond their primary role, support requests are also a vital source of feedback for us. Each request gives us insights into user experiences and challenges, guiding us in identifying opportunities for enhancement and ensuring a smoother user journey.

To submit a support request, click the Help and Support tab, then click Contact Us.

This will trigger our Intercom Support center. Click ask a question to submit a new request, or access previous messages via the "Messages" tab at hte bottom of the popup.

Office Hours with Our Founder

Every Friday, we invite you to join 'Office Hours' with James, our founder. These sessions provide a unique opportunity to discuss anything related to CodeWP.

It's not just a chance to seek answers but also a platform to share your feedback, ideas, and suggestions directly with the leadership, fostering a closer connection with our user community.

In the Help and Support popup, click "Talk with the founder", which will load a Calendly scheduler. To schedule, you must be a registered platform user.
