From "My Assignments", click the assignment you'd like to edit.
Then click "Edit".
Scroll down to the prompt(s). Then click the pencil icon to edit.
Click on "Readings" and then select "Add Reading".
Next, select "Paste your text".
Add a title for the video and then select the Video icon from the text toolbar. Then paste your video URL into the field provided. If you would like the video to play automatically when the page loads, select "Autoplay".
Note: Videos can currently be embedded only from the following supported domains: YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Brightcove, and Writable.
Once you've pasted in your video link, click "Insert" to add the video.
To add more videos or readings, click "Add Reading".
Once you've finished adding all your videos and any additional texts, click "Finish" to save.
Tips!
You can preview your reading by clicking on the three dots and then "Preview".
If you want to delete the reading, click the 'Trash' icon.
Differentiated Prompts can have different videos to accommodate for learners' needs.
You can add multiple videos to a prompt using the same process. Be sure to add titles to label each video for students.
Once you assign the assignment, students will see the video next to their responses. If there are multiple readings, students can drop down in the left corner to select which to view.
