Teacher accounts in Writable include an 'Assign to Me' feature. This allows the teacher to model the write/review process for students or experience an assignment from the students' perspective.

  1. Select an assignment from the 'My Assignments' page.

  2. Next, click the 'Assign' button.

  3. You will then have to select your grade level.

  4. After you select a grade level, you will be able to check the box next to 'Assign to Me'. Then click 'Next'.

  5. Choose your assignment options and click 'Assign'.

  6. Click the student icon to model the assignment as a student.

  7. As a student, click on the 'Read & Write' tab to begin working on the assignment.

  8. When you are finished modeling as a student, click 'Act as Teacher' in the top right corner to return to your teacher account.
