Use these steps to quickly check class completion on an assignment and ensure that students are completing assigned work and reviews. Teachers can also see if there are ungraded submissions for an assignment.

Note: Students must click to 'Submit' their writing to show it as completed. If an assignment has more than one section (i.e. a "Plan" section and a "Write" section), students will need to submit both sections.

  1. Click 'My Assignments' and choose 'All Assignments' in the left menu to view all assigned work. You can also use the dropdown at the top to specify only assignments assigned to a specific class.

  2. A snapshot of the progress is shown in the assignment tile.

    • How many classes this assignment is assigned to (including "Assign to Me")

    • How many students it has been assigned to

    • The percentage of writing that has been submitted

    • The percentage of submitted writing that has been graded

    • How many assignments are ready to be graded

  3. Click on the assignment to view the same information by class section. Additionally, you will also be able to view how many students are currently working on the assignment.

  4. Click on a specific class to view more details about student progress on the assignment.

At the top of the 'Students' page, you will see 'Performance Alerts' and 'Next Steps'.

  • Performance Alerts will offer you insight into what percentage of your students have completed their assignment, self reviews (if applicable), and peer reviews (if applicable). Potential authorship issues, high similarity scores, and low GrammarAid scores (Authorship Alerts, Originality Check, and GrammarAid) will also be flagged here.

  • Insights & Recommendations will enhance and elevate your instructional approach.

    • 'Get Started' offers you a complete lesson plan based on the current assignment.

    • 'Guide Revision' will give you a quick summary of your students' writing and suggestions for revision.

    • 'Celebrate' will highlight student growth within the assignment and over time.

    • 'Wrap Up' will give you a quick recap of student performance.

Under "Performance Alerts" and "Insights & Recommendations", you will see the Students Dashboard. Here you will be able to see scores (draft or final), whether students have completed their peer and self reviews (if applicable), GrammarAid scores, Similarity scores, and Authorship Alerts for every single student in your class.
