Using Writable's Multi-Response sections, teachers can create their own organizers to help students analyze readings and plan their writing.

1. Go to 'My Assignments' and click on the assignment you want to edit. Then click the 'Edit' button.

2. Scroll to the tabbed sections and click the blue + icon next to the section tabs.

3. Select 'Answer different types of questions' and then click 'Let's Go'.

Note: If you'd like to use a pre-built Graphic Organizer, choose the 'Use a Writable Organizer' option. You can learn more about our pre-built organizers here.

4. Choose the 'Organizer' option and then click 'Next'.

5. Click 'More' to expand the organizer builder and options.

6. Decide how many rows and columns you would like to have on the organizer.

7. Then, add optional titles for your table.
Tip! Click 'Preview' in the top right corner to check how your organizer will look for students.

8. Click 'Add Rubric Item' to choose a skill to measure with the organizer.

9. Lastly, you can choose to add optional Answer Keys (or tips for students) and Quick Tips. Click 'Done' to save your organizer.

That's it! You've built your own custom graphic organizer to support your students!
