If your students are showing light gray in your class list on Writable, or cannot see your assignments, they will need to launch Writable from Canvas to connect their accounts.
Have students follow these steps to access Writable from Canvas.
Log into Canvas and select your course.
Click on Writable in the left navigation menu. From here, students will be prompted to connect to a Google or Microsoft account. This step is extremely important to ensure that students do not end up with two different accounts and duplicate assignments.
Once students have successfully connected their accounts, they will be able to see all their Writable assignments from Canvas.
