Know how to get category level insights

The Category Insight page is to help you understand the returns breakdown at a category level. The categories are imported from your OMS back office.

This report page is divided into two main sections:

    • Return reasons

    • Top 5 most returned products


Category grouping

The categories are seen in the right-hand section of the analytics menu. Use them efficiently in the following ways:

  1. Click on the column header of return rate and/or return volume to arrange in ascending and descending order.

  2. For viewing data only from a specific category, click on the chosen category name. It will show you the corresponding statistics on the right-hand side of the screen.

  3. This will also open relevant sub-categories and their return rate and volume.

  4. For viewing the subcategories data, click on the sub-category of your choice to make the data visible on the right-hand side of the screen.

On the right-hand side of the category page, we can see the data for selected the category or sub-category.

For each category or sub-category, we show:

Return reasons:

With the help of a pie chart, see the distribution of return reasons at a category or sub-category level in the specified period. You can omit one return reason by clicking on the legend to compare the others.

Top 5 most returned products:

The top 5 most returned products by volume are displayed for the selected category or sub-category. Along with them, we showcase its return rate, number of returns/orders, and the top two return reason.
