As of 2023-03-16, we launched a new yayloh return form with Return Reason Keywords. This functionality allows your customers to provide specific, qualitative feedback during the return or exchange process, giving you deeper insight into why products are coming back.
This flow is active across all yayloh stores and applies to both exchanges and returns.
What are Return Reason Keywords?
Return reason keywords are secondary, descriptive tags that customers add to their return request. Unlike broad categories (e.g., "Too small"), these keywords provide the "why" behind the return (e.g., "Tight around the waist").
These keywords are crowdsourced from your customers. O time, the most common keywords become visible as suggestions for future customers, creating an evolving database of feedback.
Common keyword examples:
"Inconsistent fit"
"Material is poor"
"Cut is too deep"
"Shoulders too wide"
How the Form Works
Crowdsourced Growth: As customers use the form, new keywords are continuously added to the pool. When a specific reason becomes frequent, it automatically becomes a visible option for others.
Dynamic Suggestions: The form automatically displays the top 10 most selected keywords for any given category, allowing customers to provide detailed feedback with a single click.
Custom Configuration: While the system is crowdsourced by default, retailers can also pre-configure collection-level keywords in the advanced settings to track specific attributes.
Selection & Highlighting: Selected keywords are highlighted on the form, making the summary clear for both the customer and your warehouse team.
Where can I access the Return Reason keywords data?
The return reason keywords can currently be accessed on the yayloh return management page as seen below. They will soon be accessible via the yayloh insights dashboard, product page, and the dataset, too.
