Duplicate an Event or Experience

Learn how to quickly create a new event or experience by duplicating an existing one.

If you run similar events or experiences regularly, duplicating an existing listing is the fastest way to create a new one.

Duplicating an event copies the event details, tickets, add-ons, and settings so you don’t have to recreate everything from scratch.


How to Duplicate an Event or Experience

Follow the steps below to duplicate an existing event or experience.

  1. Log in to your YourKind Dashboard

  2. Navigate to Events in the left-hand menu

  3. Click Manage

  4. Click the '⋮' icon next to the event you want to duplicate, and select Use as Template

  5. Update the relevant details such as the date or time

  6. Click Create

Your new event or experience will now be created based on the original listing.


What Gets Copied When You Duplicate

When duplicating an event or experience, most of the original settings will carry over, including:

  • Event or experience name and description

  • Theme and accent colour

  • Cover image

  • Gallery images

  • Ticket types and pricing

  • Add-ons

  • Promo codes

  • Advanced settings

ℹ️ Note: You can edit any of these details before publishing the new event.


Important Notes

• Duplicating an event creates a new listing, separate from the original
• Ticket sales from the original event are not copied
• You can update the date, time, or any other details before publishing
