Editing an Event or Experience

After creating your event or experience, you may need to update information such as the description, ticket types, pricing, or event settings.

YourKind allows organisers to easily edit their event at any time from the dashboard.

How to Edit an Event or Experience

Follow the steps below to update an existing event.

  1. Log in to your YourKind Dashboard

  2. Navigate to Events in the left-hand menu

  3. Click Manage

  4. Click the '⋮' icon next to the event you want to edit, and select Edit

  5. Update the relevant details

  6. Click Update Event to save your changes

Once saved, the changes will immediately be reflected on your event / experience page.


What You Can Edit

From the event editor you can update a wide range of event settings, including:

  • Event name and description

  • Date and time

  • Venue or location

  • Event image

  • Ticket types and pricing

  • Add-ons

  • Promo codes

  • Advanced settings


Important Notes

• Changes apply to future ticket purchases
• Existing tickets that have already been issued will remain valid
• You can update your event at any time before the event takes place

⚠️ Caution
It is not possible to delete an event after tickets have been sold.
