If you no longer want a promo code to be used, you can delete it from the event or experience at any time. Once deleted, the code will no longer be valid during checkout.
Promo codes can be deleted using either the event editor or the manage page.
Method 1 — Delete Promo Codes from the Event Editor
Log in to your YourKind Dashboard
Navigate to Events in the left-hand menu
Click Manage
Click the ⋮ icon next to the event or experience, then select Edit
Navigate to the Promo Codes section
Locate the promo code you want to delete
Click the delete icon
Click Update Event to save your changes
Once saved, the promo code will no longer be valid.
Method 2 — Delete Promo Codes from the Manage Page
Log in to your YourKind Dashboard
Navigate to Events in the left-hand menu
Click Manage
Click on the event or experience
From the Sales dropdown, select Promo Codes
Locate the promo code you want to delete
Click the delete icon
Confirm the deletion
The promo code will be removed immediately.
⚠️ Important Note
Promo codes cannot be edited. If you need to change a promo code, you must delete the existing one and create a new code.
