Inbox & Direct Messaging

A direct line between your brand and your attendees, all in one place.

Written by Andrew

Inbox & Direct Messaging gives attendees a way to contact you directly from your event page, and gives you a single place to manage every conversation. No more chasing messages across Instagram, Facebook, and email.

How it works for attendees

Every event page has a contact button that opens a message box.

ℹ️ Note:
Attendees must be signed in to a YourKind to send a message. This keeps spam out and ensures every message comes from a verified person.

One Centralised Inbox

Every message lands in your brand's inbox, accessible from your dashboard and the YourKind mobile app.

All admins on your account share the same inbox, so any team member can pick up or continue a conversation.

Each conversation shows who the sender is, when they messaged, and links directly to their CRM profile.

Two-way conversations

Conversations work like a direct message thread. You can reply, follow up, and continue the conversation in full. If either party has an unread message for 15 minutes or more, an email notification is sent automatically.

Email content

💡 Tip:

You can also initiate conversations with anyone in your CRM. You do not need to wait for an attendee to message you first.
