Why is my Account Overdue?

Overdue is a status that is used by ZayZoon to indicate that the scheduled repayment of the ZayZoon payouts was not made in full. The payout or payouts were not repaid and will need to be deducted on the next paycheck.

Some accounts will have the option to make a manual repayment of the overdue balance early depending on the payroll cycle frequency you are on and the number of days until your next pay date. Check to see if you can make a manual repayment.

Are there Fees or Interest when my account is Overdue?

There are no additional fees or interest charged when your payout goes into overdue status. ZayZoon is committed to helping our customers access funds when they need them and break free from predatory high-interest lending products like payday loans, overdraft fees, and high-interest credit cards.

The only fee that may apply is the $5 transaction fee if you have used a debit card or bank account to access your payout. For a full list of dispersal methods and fees, check out this article.

Will my Overdue status affect my Credit Rating?

ZayZoon is not connected to any credit bureau so your activity on ZayZoon does not affect your credit.

How do I make a manual repayment of my overdue balance?

Weekly Pay Cycle

If you are paid on a weekly pay cycle, you will not be able to make any manual repayments to an overdue balance. Please check back to your account after your next paycheck to confirm that the overdue balance was deducted.

Bi-Weekly, Semi-Monthly, and Monthly Pay Cycle

To make a manual repayment on your ZayZoon account, your account must first be in Overdue status. Repayments are made in the ZayZoon app on your official pay date that is listed on your pay stub. Your account will go into overdue status the day of or the day after your official pay date.

Once your account is in Overdue status, you can log in, click on the Payout with the red "Overdue" button, and then click on "Repay". If you do not see the red "Overdue" button, try refreshing your app. If it is 24 hours past your pay date, please reach out to our Customer Care team so they can assist you further.

If I repay my Overdue Balance, how soon can I take another payout?

Once you repay the amount showing as overdue, it will be applied to your ZayZoon account and you can start requesting payouts again immediately (based on your Wages Available).
