I was just hired at a company that offers ZayZoon. Do I get to access the $75 new hire advance?

The New Hire Advance is a benefit available for certain employers.

This advance allows you to use ZayZoon and take a one-time payout of $75 before we receive your earnings from your employer (which is used to provide you with an available balance).

This advance will be available on or after your start date with your employer!

Am I eligible for the New Hire Advance?

If you are eligible for the New Hire Advance, it will automatically appear in your account after your start date.

Does the New Hire Advance expire?

Yes; the New Hire Advance expires once we receive payroll data from your employer or within one pay cycle from your hire date.

If you do not request the full $75 for your one-time payout, the remaining balance will no longer be available.

What do I need to do to get my Advance?

You'll need to provide a document proving your employment to receive the advance. You can upload up to five documents at a time once the advance is requested.

This document must be:

  • from your employer

  • dated (with your official start date)

  • showing your full legal name

  • Show a start date within 1 week, or proof you started working but did not receive your first paycheck yet.

Examples of acceptable documents are:

  • Signed Employment Contract or Offer letter

  • Official Timesheet (paper or electronic) with completed work hours

  • Schedule (official shift schedule, time submissions, punch cards)

  • Screenshots or photos of:

    • your employee portal showing name and hire date

    • a punch clock with clearly visible ID held next to it with completed dates of work

    • jobs completed in the current period

Please go here for more details on how to upload your proof of work documents, including uploading more than one document.

Please allow up to 1 hour for processing time during operating hours.
