How ZayZoon tracks Shifts/Hours worked

If your My Balance shows Shift/Hours worked for balance increases, your hours are sent directly from your employer's payroll system. Once we receive your attendance data, your available balance is automatically updated.

Attendance data can take up to 2 business days from your last shift to fully sync with ZayZoon.

For example, hours worked Friday may not appear until Tuesday (depending on when payroll sends the data). ZayZoon does not control when data is sent - the timing depends on your employer or payroll provider.

Why are my hours missing or incorrect?

Your hours will usually update automatically within 2 business days, once data has fully synced.

Some reasons they may appear missing or incorrect include:

  • Your payroll provider hasn't sent the data yet

  • There was a missed punch (clock-in or out)

  • Corrections were made after the data was sent

  • You used vacation, sick time, or other paid time off (not included in available balance)

  • A technical delay occured when syncing data

You may need to refresh your page or wait up to 2 business days for the payroll data to be processed and sent to ZayZoon.

Can ZayZoon help correct missing or incorrect hours?

In most cases, attendance issues resolve automatically in the app within 2 business days, once data has fully synced.

However, if your hours are still incorrect on the third business day after your last shift, there may be a syncing issue.

For example: You worked on Friday but the hours haven't appeared on Tuesday. If your hours haven't appeared by Wednesday, you can:

  1. Contact the ZayZoon Support team via the in-app chat

  2. Provide clear documentation showing the hours you worked

    1. For example: a timecard or screenshot of employee portal with your full name and confirmed/actual hours worked

We can only review hours worked for the current pay period. We cannot adjust hours from previous pay periods - please contact your employer or payroll administrator for those corrections.
