Some accounts have the benefit of opting in to an Automated Hours Tracking, which uses your mobile location to tracks the hours or shifts.
If this option is available on your account, it will automatically appear when you make a payout request.
The attendance hours/shifts that are tracked through your location will confirm your employment for you so that you don't need to continue uploading Proof of Work documentation to access your payouts.
How do I enable automated hours tracking?
You can enable automated hours tracking by following the steps below:
Step 1: Download the ZayZoon mobile app
The ZayZoon mobile app is required for automatic hours tracking through your location settings: Get it on Google Play or Download it on the App Store for iOS.
Step 2: Log in to your ZayZoon account
Sign in with the email address and password for your ZayZoon account. You may be required to provide a One-Time Passcode to enter the app.
Step 2: Request a Payout
When you request a new payout, if this option is available, you'll be presented with the option of tracking your hours automatically or uploading a document as Proof of Work.
Select Track my hours automatically to start setting up!
Step 3: Set up your permission settings
You'll need to grant permission for ZayZoon to track your precise location all the time from the mobile app.
Click Alright, I'm Ready!
Tap OK to grant location permissions.
Turn on or select Precise or Use Precise Location.
Select Allow While Using App.
Change to Always Allow or Allow all the time so that the app can track your hours even when you’re not in the ZayZoon app.
You'll receive a confirmation once Automatic Hours Tracking has been enabled!
Why am I still being asked to upload a document when I have automatic hours tracking turned on?
When you first turn the feature on, we may not have enough location data to automatically approve your payout right away.
In that case, you will see this screen which gives you the option to upload a document or check back later:
How is my location information used?
If you enable automated hours tracking, your mobile location data will registers when you enter and exit your workplace to update your hours in the ZayZoon mobile app.
Note that your mobile location data is stored in your own mobile device, not in the ZayZoon mobile app. This information is deleted from your mobile device after 30 days.
