Please note:
If you do not own your office space or do not have control of your energy, please skip to section 2 or 3. To check what you have told Zellar about your building type/set-up, visit your account settings.
Section 1: Owned buildings or energy payers
Section 1: Owned buildings or energy payers
You have told us that you own your office or have direct control over your energy consumption and providers.
When you start Mission 1, Zellar will ask you for your address so that we can find your energy data. You can enter up to 5 individual addresses.
If you cannot find your address, it may not be stored in the industry database. If this is the case, you can:
Check the supply address on your energy bill
Add the meter number - also found on your energy bill
Enter the data manually.
If you can find your address, the next step will have brought your meter information. Here you can add further meters, check the meter information and choose the number of years you would like to look at.
If you have a half hourly meter, there will be an additional step to collect more information to allow us to access your energy data on your behalf.
At the end of this section, you will be able to see your annual consumption and carry out the same steps for any gas you may use.
Once you have completed the energy mission, you will be shown your carbon emissions from energy usage. You can review this at any point by visiting the emissions page.
Section 2: Serviced Buildings
Section 2: Serviced Buildings
You have told us you are in a serviced building, so you do currently have an oversight of your energy usage or costs and your energy may be included in your rent.
When you start Mission 1, Zellar will take you through two options for accessing your data:
Add known energy data: You can ask your landlord for the annual energy use and estimate your share based on the percentage of space you occupy.
Estimate from basic data: Zellar can give you an estimate based on the approximate size of your building or the space you occupy
In order to have the most accurate data, we recommend working with your landlord and encouraging them to share as much energy data as possible. This project 'Make your shared office more sustainable' could help.

Section 3: Fully Remote
Section 3: Fully Remote
In this case, you will not have any building emissions as you work fully remotely. Your working from home emissions and any travelling to e.g clients or suppliers will be accounted for in Mission 2: Travel.
Editing the submitted data
There are two ways in which you can edit previously submitted data.
Follow the top navigation bar to Actions -> Missions -> View & Edit Data on the appropriate Mission. This will then open up all the years you have edited and then you can go in and select the correct one.
Or you can follow the top navigation panel to Insights -> Emissions -> Scroll down the page to find the correct section.
