Zeplyn allows you to capture notes during any phone conversation by using a dedicated notetaker line. This feature is especially useful for advisors who frequently work by phone and want to ensure their conversations are documented efficiently and securely.


🔧 How to Use Zeplyn for Phone Calls

1. Dial the Zeplyn Notetaker Number: 866-565-9219

Highly Recommend: Save this number in your contacts!

2. Merge the Call:

  • While on a call with your client, dial the Zeplyn number.

    • You may be asked for a pin, if you do not know your pin please reach out to support.

  • Once connected, merge the calls.

  • This will activate the notetaker and begin capturing notes.

3. Automatic Note-Taking:

  • Zeplyn will generate notes based on the conversation.

  • Notes will stop automatically once the call ends.

  • No manual starting or stopping is required.


⏱ When to Add Zeplyn to a Call

You can initiate Zeplyn's notetaker at any point during your conversation:

  • You plan to call the client - scheduled meeting:
    In Zeplyn, select the meeting. Then in meeting location, mark consent received, add your number to the phone call section, and call. This will call you, then you can call your client and merge the calls.

  • Client calls you - scheduled meeting:
    In Zeplyn, select the meeting. Then in meeting location, mark consent received, add your number to the phone call section, and call. This will call you, then you can merge the calls.

  • Client calls you - impromptu:
    Once you're on the call with the client, add/call the Zeplyn notetaker line, and merge the lines. You will see these meeting notes after you hang up the call labeled in past meetings as "Phone meeting with client."

This flexibility ensures you can always capture notes—whether you're initiating or receiving the call.


👥 Using Multiple Phone Numbers

You can have multiple phone numbers attached to a single Zeplyn account.


🏢 Shared Phone Numbers & PIN Access

If your office or team uses a shared phone number (e.g., a main line or group number), Zeplyn can provide a dedicated PIN code to ensure the correct user is identified.

How it works:

  • You dial the Zeplyn notetaker line as usual.

  • When prompted, enter your assigned PIN.

  • This activates the notetaker under your account, even if the number is shared by others.
