Automate recognition workflows for employee life events and annual milestones.

Setting Up Automation Rules

Navigate to Automations → Create Automation:

  • Onboarding: Grant points/gifts upon a new hire's start date. (Requires Start Date profile field).

  • Birthday: Award points automatically on employee birthdays. (Requires Birthdate profile field).

  • Work Anniversary: Celebrate employee tenure. Choose between Unified (same points for everyone) or Differential (tiered points based on years of service).

Email Notification Schedule

Automated milestone emails trigger twice daily:

  • 4:00 PM UTC: For recipients added prior to their event date.

  • 8:00 PM UTC: For recipients added during the day of their event.

(Note: If a recipient is added after 8:00 PM UTC on their milestone date, issue points manually as automated triggers for that calendar day have passed).
