When is storage paid?
• Carriers only receive storage payment if the container is loaded onto the chassis/container and OLAM approves the payment. 🏗️✅
Exceptions to Storage Fees
• Memphis: No storage fees apply because chassis/containers can be dropped at AC Desoto. 🚗❌
• Early Loading: If a carrier loads a container before the Road & Terminal Load (RTL) / Estimated Receiving Date (ERD) without approval from OLAM or Candlestick Industries, storage fees will not be paid. 🚫📦
Factors Affecting Storage Fee Payment
• If the warehouse delays loading, the carrier may still receive storage fees. 🏢⏳
• If the carrier had enough time to check in but waited until the last day, payment may be denied. 📅❌
