App notifications play a crucial role in keeping you in the loop with your R&M requests. If you're using an Apple phone, configuring notifications to work when your screen is locked, unlocked, and even during 'Do Not Disturb' mode is key. In this guide, we'll walk you through the simple steps to ensure you never miss an important update.

Step 1: Locate and Open 'Settings'

The 'Settings' app is the control center for your device. Look for the gear-shaped icon, usually found on the home screen or in the app drawer. Once located, tap on it to open the 'Settings' menu.

Step 2: Find and Tap on "Notifications"

Scroll down the Settings menu until you find the "Notifications" option. It's represented by a list icon with three horizontal lines.

Step 3: Select the App

Scroll through the list of apps until you find the 86 Repairs app. Tap on the app's name to access its notification settings.

Step 4: Enable "Allow Notifications"

At the top of the app's notification settings, you'll find a toggle switch for "Allow Notifications." Ensure that this switch is turned on.

Step 5: Customize Alert Styles

Choose how you want to be notified. You can select options such as banners, alerts, or none, depending on your preference.

Step 6: Enable Lock Screen Notifications

To receive notifications when your screen is locked, make sure the "Show on Lock Screen" toggle switch is turned on. This allows you to view and interact with notifications without unlocking your phone.

Step 7: Enable Unlock Screen Notifications

If you want to see notifications when your screen is unlocked, ensure the "Show in History" toggle switch is turned on. This allows notifications to appear in the Notification Center when you unlock your phone.

Step 8: Enable Notifications in Do Not Disturb

For uninterrupted notifications even in Do Not Disturb mode, scroll down to the "Do Not Disturb" section and make sure the "Allow Notifications From" is checked.
