If your AutoSky CarPlay Wireless Adapter (WUA Series) is having connection issues after an iOS update, follow these steps to resolve it.

  1. Factory reset the adapter:

    • Connect to the adapter’s WiFi network (usually named "AutoSky" or "CarPlayBox" followed by 4 digits),the password is 88888888.

    • Open your phone’s browser and enter the following IP address: 192.168.2.1.

    • Scroll down the page and find the "Factory reset" option, then click it.

    • After completing the reset, disconnect and reconnect the adapter to apply the new settings.

  2. Enable compatibility mode:

    • After reconnecting the adapter, access the settings again through the browser (192.168.2.1).

    • Go to "Connection Settings" and enable compatibility mode to improve connection stability.

  3. Connection tips:

    • Be sure to enable the connection tips within the same settings.

    • Scroll to the bottom of the page and, if there are updates available, install them. This is crucial to fix previous version bugs.

  4. Bluetooth connection:

    • Once the process is done, unplug the adapter for a few seconds and then plug it back into the car.

    • Once it powers on, reconnect it to your phone via Bluetooth as if it were the first time.

  5. Fix startup and sync issues:

    • If the adapter doesn't connect properly when your car starts, it may be due to the USB port powering on before the car stereo. This can cause sync issues.

    • In the adapter settings, find the "Start delay" option. Change the delay to 5 or 10 seconds. This will ensure the stereo is powered on before the adapter, preventing desynchronization.
