How do I navigate the Impact Hub homepage?

Updated this week

The Impact Hub homepage is your starting point for working with data, dashboards, and reports. It’s designed to help you connect your data, understand where to go next, and quickly access key areas of the platform.

When you sign in to Impact Hub, you land on the homepage by default. You can return to it at any time by selecting Home from the left-side navigation menu.

Understand the main sections of the homepage

The homepage is organized into three main sections:

Welcome banner

The welcome banner appears at the top of the page and provides a brief overview of Impact Hub’s purpose. It may also highlight announcements, updates, or upcoming features.

No action is required in this section.

Getting started

The Getting started section helps guide your next steps, especially if you are new to Impact Hub.

From here, you can:

  • Connect your Apricot site to Impact Hub (if you have permission)

  • Confirm whether your data connection is complete

  • See prompts that help you move forward with setup or exploration

This section is especially useful during initial onboarding.

Learning resources

The Learning resources section provides quick access to help articles and guidance on using Impact Hub. Some resources may be marked Coming soon as new features are released.

Selecting a resource opens the related article or documentation to help you learn more about specific areas of Impact Hub.

Use the left-side navigation menu

The left-side navigation menu lets you move between the main areas of Impact Hub:

  • Dashboards – View dashboards that have been shared with you.

  • Builder – Create or edit dashboards and analyses (Author access required).

  • Data connections – Manage connected Apricot sites and user access (administrator access required).

  • Help Center – Open help articles and documentation (located at the bottom of the menu).

What you see in the navigation menu depends on your role and access level.

Tips for navigating confidently

  • If you don’t see Dashboards or Builder, your Apricot site may not be connected yet, or you may not have access.

  • Changes such as connecting data or updating access may require a page refresh before they appear.

  • If you’re unsure where to go next, the homepage is a reliable place to reorient yourself.
